Hero MotoCorp registered domestic sales of 4,99,943 units in July 2026, achieving 21.56% YoY growth over 4,11,271 units sold in July 2025. MoM performance was largely flat, with sales declining by 0.34% from 5,01,661 units recorded in June.

Splendor recorded sales of 3,35,246 units in July, registering 35.88% YoY growth over 2,46,715 units. Sales declined by 5.04% MoM from 3,53,024 units, but the commuter motorcycle still accounted for a dominant 67.06% share of Hero’s domestic volumes.

HF Deluxe finished second with 55,978 units. Although sales improved by 26.38% over June, they declined by 21.68% on a YoY basis. HF Deluxe once regularly generated monthly volumes exceeding one lakh units, but its sales have reduced significantly over the years. The growing difference between Splendor and HF Deluxe also highlights Hero’s increasing dependence on its bestselling commuter motorcycle.

Vida Becomes Hero’s Third Bestselling Product

Vida emerged as one of Hero’s strongest performers with sales of 22,707 units. The electric scooter range registered 102.29% YoY growth, more than doubling its July 2025 volume of 11,225 units. MoM sales also increased by 11.22%.

Vida has now climbed to third position in Hero’s domestic sales chart, overtaking several established petrol-powered motorcycles and scooters. Its rapid growth indicates that electric scooters are becoming an increasingly important part of Hero’s overall business.

Passion followed with 19,211 units, registering 6.09% YoY and 25.64% MoM growth. Destini 125 recorded 19,142 units, declining by 2.96% YoY and 13.03% MoM. Glamour sales stood at 12,995 units. While volumes increased by 21.49% YoY, they declined by 7.36% compared to June.

Xtreme 125R Sales Decline

Xtreme 125R sales fell to 9,696 units, representing declines of 21.09% YoY and 26.66% MoM. The motorcycle had emerged as a strong contender in the sporty 125cc segment, but its recent sales performance indicates weakening momentum.

Hero recently updated the Xtreme 125R with features such as a TFT display and tyre pressure monitoring system. These additions could help revive demand and strengthen its positioning against rivals in the highly competitive 125cc motorcycle segment.

Xtreme 160R recorded only 498 units, down 68.82% YoY. Xtreme 250R sales stood at 322 units, registering a 12.26% YoY decline despite improving by 59.41% over June. Xpulse sales reached 4,649 units, registering 15.56% YoY and 57.22% MoM growth.

Hero Xoom Scooter Range Gains Momentum

Xoom 125 was among the strongest performers, with sales increasing by 43.28% YoY and 39.07% MoM to 9,375 units. The larger Xoom 160 registered 1,653 units, improving by 13.37% over June. Combined with the established Destini and Pleasure, the Xoom range is helping Hero expand its presence in the scooter market. Pleasure recorded sales of 8,470 units, remaining almost flat on a YoY basis while growing by 18.94% MoM.

Karizma, Mavrick Sales Disappoint

Karizma 210 recorded only one unit in July after reporting zero sales in June. The motorcycle has failed to generate meaningful volumes in recent months, leaving Hero’s upcoming Karizma 250 as the next major hope for the nameplate. The new model has already been spotted undisguised ahead of its expected launch.

Mavrick 440 registered zero sales in July, compared to three units in June and five units in July 2025. Despite sharing its platform with the Harley-Davidson X440, Mavrick has struggled to establish itself in India’s premium motorcycle segment.
