Hero MotoCorp has made its popular HF Deluxe commuter motorcycle more affordable, with the electric-start variant now available at an introductory price of Rs 59,999 (ex-showroom). The special price is lower than the motorcycle’s original price of Rs 66,782 and is available for a limited period, subject to stocks.
Interestingly, this makes the electric-start version more affordable than the kick-start variant, making it a more attractive proposition for buyers looking for an everyday commuter motorcycle.
The HF Deluxe electric-start variant is priced at Rs 59,999 (ex-showroom), while its on-road price in Noida stands at Rs 72,999. Hero MotoCorp is offering the special pricing as part of its festive-season strategy, with the offer available until stocks last.
Hero HF Deluxe: Engine and specifications
The HF Deluxe is powered by a 97.2cc, air-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder OHC engine paired with a four-speed gearbox. The engine produces 8bhp at 8,000rpm and 8.05Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm.
As the name suggests, the special variant gets an electric starter, making it more convenient for daily use compared to the kick-start version.
The motorcycle rides on 18-inch tubeless tyres, with an 80/100-18 M/C 47P unit at the front and an 80/100-18 M/C 54P tyre at the rear. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and two-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear.
Braking is handled by 130mm drum brakes at both ends, with the rear brake also featuring Hero’s Integrated Braking System.
The HF Deluxe measures 1,965mm in length, 720mm in width and 1,045mm in height. It has a seat height of 805mm.
With the electric-start variant now priced below its original sticker price and even undercutting the kick-start version, the HF Deluxe becomes an even more accessible option in the entry-level commuter motorcycle segment.
