Hero Launches Glamour X with Cruise Control

New Delhi: Hero unleashes their new Glamour X 124.7 cc bike at a starting price of Rs 90,000 to Rs 1 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. In this segment, this bike became the first which come with cruise control features.

Hero Glamour X design and features 

In looks, the new Hero Glamour defines a muscular build as compared to the older model. Now it has 30mm wider handlebars; however, the hero decreased seat height, which sits at 790mm and ground clearance is at 170mm. This bike has an option of underseat storage for small items or documents, although the seat is now more spacious. The Glamour X is equipped with a taller black tinted windscreen, while the Hero also provides a shorter one as an accessory.

The Glamour X became the first commuter motorcycle in India, which came with cruise control equipped with a new ride-by-wire throttle. This bike offers three riding modes, which include   Power, Road and Eco and has an adaptive colour LCD with Bluetooth connection. It has an Xtreme 250R-inspired taillight and a new design LED headlight with an ambient light sensor, including a panic brake alert system for indicators. Comes in five colour options.

Hero Glamour X  Engine and Powertrain

The Glamour X comes with a 124.7cc single-cylinder engine, which produces 11.5hp and 10.5 Nm, while paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle uses a standard telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear for suspension. 

Braking is managed by a 240mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear. However, it does not come with a single-channel ABS option.

Hero Glamour X  Price 

Hero has launched the Glamour X in two segments, Drum and Disc variants and set the price accordingly. The ex-showroom, Delhi, price for the Drum variant is at Rs 90,000 and Rs 1 lakh for the Disc variant.
