Hero Karizma XMR Base trim removed from website

New Delhi: Hero have delisted the base variant of the Karizma XMR from their website and now have only the Top and Combat variants featured on it. On its launch back in August 2023, the Hero Karizma XMR came with just a single variant, which came with a telescopic fork and LCD dash. Since its rival, the Yamaha R15, came with a USD fork as standard, it was favoured over the Karizma XMR.

Recently, the Hero gave Karizma XMR 210 an upgrade, where it was equipped with the USD fork and the new TF display, with the latter making its debut on the Xpulse 210.

When the Top trim was introduced, it came with a premium of Rs 19,000 above the Base version, which had been priced at Rs 1.81 lakh. With the Base variant now delisted, the entry point to the Karizma XMR range goes up to Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Now the range only comes with the Top and Combat variants.

The Combat variant, priced at Rs 2,02 lakh, gets all the features of the Top variant but has a grey and yellow paint job that is similar to the Xoom 110 Combat edition. It is still powered by the 210 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 25 bhp and 20.4 Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox.

With the performance-focused motorbike segment becoming a popular market in India, it now faces more competition than before. Having updated the premium range with the launch of Xpulse 210 and Xtrem 250R, Hero will soon be coming up with the Karizma XMR 250 as well. It will have an all-new design and updated bodywork with sharper lines and much more aggressive styling.

It will feature a 250 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve DOHC engine that is already in the Xtreme 250. The motor will be producing 29..5 bhp and 25 Nm of torque, mated with a six-speed gearbox.
