Rajasthan CM held emergency meeting

Schools will be closed on August 23 in these districts of Rajasthan
In view of the incessant rains and flood situation, it has been decided to close the school on Saturday, August 23 in many districts. Chittorgarh: Additional District Collector Prabha Gautam has declared a holiday in all government, private schools and Anganwadi centers in the district. Action has been warned if the order is violated. Bhilwara: District Collector Jasmeet Singh Sandhu has ordered all schools to be closed for one day in view of security. Baran: On August 22 and 23, a holiday was already declared here. All educational institutions, Anganwadi and Ma-Bari centers will remain closed. Tonk: After warning of heavy rainfall, the district administration has declared a holiday in all government and private schools on Saturday. Kota: District Collector Piyush Sanwaria has announced a holiday for all students from class 1 to 12. However, teachers will have to be present in the school regularly and the scheduled examinations will be held as per the pre -determined time.
Appeal to take precautions
- The administration has appealed to the people not to get out of the houses unnecessarily and the families living in the low -lying areas should be cautious. At the same time, rescue teams have been deployed in sensitive areas.
