The route has been opened for small trains, but the trucks are still stuck in the jam. 534 roads in the state have to be closed and the power supply has come to a standstill due to the closure of 1,184 transformers.
Death toll in floods and house collapse incidents increased to 310
According to the SDMA, the death toll in sudden floods and house collapse has increased to 310. The maximum roads in Kullu have been damaged, where 166 roads including a national highway are closed. Traffic is completely affected due to the closure of 216 roads in Mandi. There is also a huge crisis in power supply – 600 transformers in Kulu and 320 transformers in Mandi have come to a standstill, while drinking water supply in Kangra has been affected the most.

Delhi-NCR will face problems due to landslides

The price of apple filled in a truck is around 4 to 4.5 lakh rupees. Similarly, thousands of trucks are unable to reach Azadpur and Sahibabad Mandi. There has been a landslide at half a dozen places between Mandi to Coolu on the national highway from Chandigarh to Kullu, due to which it is taking time to open the way.
