A 27-year-old mother committed suicide by killing her 2-year-old twin sons in Hyderabad. The husband allegedly used to taunt the son when he had difficulty speaking. Fed up with this family dispute, the woman took this step.

Hyderabad: The husband used to taunt his wife when his son had difficulty speaking. Fed up with this, a 27 year old mother killed her twin children and committed suicide. This heart-wrenching incident happened in Hyderabad. Challari Sai Lakshmi, 27, committed suicide after killing her two-year-old twins. He suffocated the children with a pillow and then jumped from the fourth floor of the building. This incident happened on October 14 at around 3:30 am. At the time of the incident, the mother and child were alone in a four-storey apartment located in Balanagar, Hyderabad. Challari Sai Lakshmi’s husband had gone to work at that time.

Woman’s dead body seen in neighborhood CCTV

At around 3:37 am, neighbors saw the woman lying on the ground in front of the building in nearby CCTV footage and immediately informed the apartment authorities. After this, when the house was checked, dead bodies of children were found. The bodies were first sent to the hospital and then for post-mortem. It is being told that among the twins, the son had some difficulty in speaking.

Police say that the husband used to constantly fight with his 27 year old wife over this issue. The child was also undergoing speech therapy treatment. Police believe that when the constant taunts and family disputes over her son’s speech problem became too much, the woman took this dreadful step. In this case, the woman’s parents have filed a complaint against her husband.
