Heartbreaking accident in Saharanpur: Dumper overturned on car, 7 died on the spot!

Saharanpur Accident: In a tragic road accident on Dehradun Highway in Saharanpur, 7 members of a family died when a dumper overturned on a car. There was panic in the area after the incident. Police and administration teams have reached the spot and are engaged in relief work.

An accident occurred in Saharanpur on Friday morning which shocked the entire area. A family’s happiness ended within seconds on the Dehradun Highway when a speeding dumper suddenly went out of control and overturned on top of a car. The accident was so horrific that the car was completely crushed and seven people sitting in it died on the spot. The accident took place near Gagalhedi police station area, where the help of a crane had to be taken to remove the vehicle from under the truck.

There was panic after the accident, a passerby also got hit

When the dumper overturned, a passerby passing by also got hit by it. He has not been identified yet. After the accident, a huge crowd of villagers gathered, causing a long traffic jam on both sides of the highway. Police and administrative team reached the spot, but the villagers insisted on calling higher officials, due to which it took time to control the situation.

The family was going to the funeral, no one returned

The brother-in-law of Mahendra Saini, resident of village Syed Majra, died on Thursday night. The entire family was going to attend the funeral on Friday morning. Mahendra Saini’s wife Rani Devi, son Sandeep (24), daughter Julie (27), 4-year-old grandson, son-in-law Shekhar Kumar (28), sister-in-law’s son Vipin (20) and relative Raju Saini (27) were traveling in the car. At a short distance from the village, the dumper that came on their car overturned and everyone lost their lives on the spot.

Car collapsed, police took charge

The surrounding area trembled with a loud sound like an explosion. The car was destroyed and the conditions were so bad that the police had to struggle even in taking out the dead bodies. CO Sadar, Gagalhedi police, traffic team and relief teams reached the spot and started taking action.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences

As soon as the news of the tragic accident was received, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences and directed the officials to speed up relief and rescue operations. He also gave instructions to provide all possible medical aid to the injured.

This accident once again proves how high speed and carelessness of heavy vehicles keep killing innocent people. Police have confirmed that the dumper driver is absconding and raids are underway to search for him.
