Sameer Anjan revealed that Salman Khan used to cry with a breakup pain after hearing the title track of ‘Tere Naam’. He used to listen to this song before every shot and express his heart pain.
Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai’s breakup made headlines in 2002. After this, in 2003, Salman played the role of a broken man in Satish Kaushik’s film ‘Tere Naam’. In such a situation, this film proved to be a superhit. At the same time, in an interview, lyricist Sameer Anjan of the title track of this film revealed that at that time Salman used to cry while listening to the song before every shot due to his heartbreaking pain.

Sameer said, ‘The title track was not written especially keeping them in mind. Actually, that song was associated with her and Aishwarya Rai’s broken story. Before giving Salman the shot, he used to call Himesh Reshammiya and he used to sing this song and herself used to cry emotional. He used to say that you come and hear this song. Especially on that line, “Why no one does not get a loyal in lieu of loyal”, he believed that this song tells his pain and it should reach everyone. On the set, Salman used to get emotional after listening to this song and started crying. Only then did he go to give the shot. His pain was absolutely fresh at that time, the wound was not yet full.
