Delhi is witnessing a rainy day and it has impacted the flight schedules. On Tuesday morning, the national capital woke up to light rain which has brought a temporary relief from rising temperatures. Overcast skies, damp roads and a noticeable dip in temperature were witnessed across parts of the city as commuters navigated through light showers.
IndiGo issues travel advisory
IndiGo, the largest airline in India, has issued an advisory due to the bad weather in the national capital. The airline posted from its official X handle, “Bad weather over Delhi has impacted flight schedules. We are closely monitoring the weather and doing our best to get you where you need to be, safely and smoothly.”
It added, “We request that you stay updated on your flight status via our website or app. Please be assured that our teams are here to assist you at every step and provide full support. We look forward to clearer skies and a swift return to our regular schedule. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

Weather in Delhi
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the city is expected to experience a minimum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 31 degrees Celsius throughout the day. Several places in Delhi to witness light rainfall with light thunderstorm and lightning (30-40 Km/h gusty winds). As per data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 117, categorised as “Moderate.”
