Aloe Vera is a plant full of medicinal properties which can be easily grown at home and is useful for many of your purposes. It is helpful in reducing skin related problems like pimples, tanning, rashes, puffiness, swelling and brings new life to the skin. Similarly, you can apply aloe vera even on cuts or burns, while aloe vera is also very useful in nourishing the hair and making it smooth and shiny. Fitness freaks and diabetics also include aloe vera juice in their diet. Many times people do not want to consume it because of its bitterness. In such a situation, you can make vegetable from it.

These will be the ingredients required
To make aloe vera vegetable, pluck two fresh aloe vera leaves, wash them and keep them in a bowl so that the yellow substance coming out of it gets removed. One pinch asafoetida, half tablespoon cumin, 1 to 2 teaspoons oil, half tablespoon turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon coriander powder, half tablespoon dry mango powder, 1-2 green chillies (finely chopped), half teaspoon red chilli powder, 1 teaspoon or salt as per taste, now know the recipe for making the vegetable.

- When the yellow substance comes out from the ends of the cleaned aloe vera leaves, wash them again and then remove the thorny edges and cut them.
- Now keep two cups of water in a vessel to heat. Add one teaspoon salt and a little turmeric powder to it.
- When the water mixed with salt and turmeric comes to a boil, add aloe vera pieces to it and cook for 6 to 7 minutes.
- After the aloe vera is ripe, take it out of water and wash it again twice, in this way its bitterness reduces considerably.
Make vegetables like this
After removing the bitterness of aloe vera, to prepare its curry, first heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds to it. After this add asafoetida in it. Now add coriander powder, turmeric powder, chopped green chilli, red chilli powder and fry well. Now add boiled aloe vera to the spices and mix well. After this, add fennel powder and dry mango powder, cover it and cook well for 3 to 4 minutes. When the vegetable is ready, garnish it with green coriander.
Note:This vegetable is full of medicinal properties. Only 4 to 5 pieces should be eaten at a time. Avoid eating it during pregnancy or due to any health condition. Aloe vera vegetable does not spoil quickly, you can keep it in the fridge and eat it comfortably for two days.
