How expensive will Air India tickets become due to fuel surcharge?
Air India has said that the prices of oil (ATF) are skyrocketing, hence they are forced to increase the fares. There will be a direct increase of Rs 399 on every domestic ticket. Even if you go to neighboring country (SAARC), you will have to pay Rs 399 extra. Fares to Singapore and South-East Asia will increase by about Rs 1,600 to Rs 5,000. Those going to Europe and America may have to buy expensive tickets of Rs 4,000 to 8,000 from March 18.
