I hate Delhi. I hate men. And I hate this system that lets them do this every damn day.

To make matters worse, another man displayed the same behaviour. The man kept asking her, “It’s crowded. How is it my fault?” Luckily, another female passenger who noticed her ordeal intervened. She screamed at the man.
The woman shared she was shaken by the experience. She added, “I’m so tired. So disgusted. So angry. In just 40 minutes, two different men managed to touch me, push against me, and make me feel disgusting in my own skin. I hate this city. I hate this system. And I hate that women have to keep shrinking themselves to survive in it.”
“I’m still crying while typing this. I just needed to let it out somewhere,” wrote the helpless woman.
Social media users were devastated and horrified for the woman. One wrote, “How funny it is, every woman in delhi has either been assaulted/harassed or knows someone who has been assaulted/harassed, but not one guy knows an assaulter/harasser.” Another commented, “Feeling really sorry for you, hope things will get better in this country oneday.”
