- Tej Pratap Yadav got 80,991 votes in the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections.
- JDU’s Rajkumar Rai, who stood second, got 59,852 votes.
- Tej Pratap won by about 21,139 votes.
Important thing: This contest was also special because Tej Pratap had left his Mahua seat and entered the fray from here.
Note: Five criminal cases are pending against 12th pass Tej Pratap Yadav. His total assets are said to be Rs 2.83 crore and he also has a loan of Rs 17.57 lakh.
2015: Election of Hasanpur assembly seat – JDU has strong hold.
In 2015, JDU’s Rajkumar Rai had won from here.
- He got a total of 63,094 votes.
- RLSP candidate Vinod Chaudhary, who stood second, got 33,494 votes.
Important thing: JDU had won this election by a huge margin of 29,600 votes.
2010: Hasanpur Assembly seat election – JDU’s close victory
- Even in 2010, JDU’s Rajkumar Rai was the winner.
- He got 36,767 votes.
- RJD’s Sunil Kumar Pushpam got 33,476 votes.
Important thing: The contest was very close and the margin of victory was only 3,300 votes.
