– A day before the Hartalika Teej fast i.e. 25 August, on Monday night, women should eat satvik food on Monday night. Follow celibacy. Do not eat and drink anything after 12 o’clock at night.
– On August 26, on Wednesday morning, women get up early and take bath etc. and take a pledge to fast. Anything is forbidden on this day. You can take some water if you are very important
– In the auspicious time, start worship by installing idols or pictures of Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Shriganesh and Riddhi-Siddhi at a clean place. First of all worship Lord Shriganesh.
