Haris Rauf fires explosive threat at Gautam Gambhir ahead of India vs Pakistan Asia Cup clash

The 31-year-old Pakistan National Cricket Team pacer Haris Rauf has issued a massive warning to the India National Cricket Team ahead of the Asia Cup 2025.

The arch-rivals India and Pakistan are set to lock horns with each other in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025 despite the war-like situation between the two countries a few months back.

Dono apne ne, Inshallah – Haris Rauf fires a warning to Gautam Gambhir’s India

Tensions between India and Pakistan were at their peak in April-May 2025, following a deadly terrorist attack on Indian tourists in Pahalgam on April 22, 2025, and in retaliation, Operation Sindoor, a major military operation, was launched by India on May 7, 2025.

India launched missile strikes into Pakistan, and the neighbouring country also fired back. After four days of intense conflict, on May 10, 2025, a ceasefire was agreed upon.

Due to the cross-border tensions, there was a big question mark over the Asia Cup 2025. However, the ACC recently unveiled the schedule for the competition, with India and Pakistan placed in the same group, and the Indian government also permitted the Men in Blue to play the match.

Ahead of the India vs Pakistan match on Sunday, September 14, at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, pacer Haris Rauf has warned the Indian team, saying that Pakistan will win both matches in the competition. Notably, India and Pakistan can lock horns up to three times in the continental tournament if the teams progress to further rounds.

“India naal do match ne (We have two matches against India),” a fan was seen telling Haris Rauf in the viral video.

“Dono apne ne, Inshallah (Both matches are ours to win, Inshallah),” reacting to the comment, the Pakistan pacer said.

He was asking some weird questions – Rinku Singh

The star Indian batsman Rinku Singh recently opened up about an incident involving a Pakistan fan that left him angry. During the series between India and South Africa in the Rainbow Nation last year, a fan approached Suryakumar Yadav and Rinku Singh.

While pointing the camera at Suryakumar Yadav and Rinku Singh, he tried to extract a reaction from the players, asking them why their country is not willing to tour Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The India T20I skipper handled the situation calmly, but the Uttar Pradesh batter was left angry.

“The guy came close to us. He had his camera open. He was asking some weird questions. He just wanted to get a reaction out of us. He wanted some content. I just told him, ‘Bhai, camera to band karle. (Close your camera).’ He then shut his camera,” Rinku Singh told News24.

“Suryakumar Yadav was with me; he ensured that the fan was silent. As you saw in that video, I was really angry. It’s not done that you come close and your camera is open. It was wrong,” he added.
