Bollywood actress Esha Gupta recently spoke her heart out about the rumors of her dating Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya. In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, the Aashram actress revealed that although they were getting to know each other, they did not date.
Esha said that they had been talking for some time, but she did not think that they were dating as they had been for a couple of months. She even added that they were at the ‘maybe it will happen, maybe it won’t’ stage. She said that it ended before even they reached the dating stage, so it was not dating-dating. Esha continued saying that they did meet once or twice and that is it. She even said that it was a couple of months and then it ended.

Esha was asked if a relationship was possible, but she said that it ‘maybe could have happened’, but things did not progress. The beautiful actress revealed that timing and compatibility were not right and there was no drama or bitterness. She said that it just was not meant to be. During the conversation, Esha spoke about the controversy surrounding Hardik Pandya’s remarks on Koffee With Karan. She made it clear that the situation did not impact her as they had already ended communication by that point. She even said that since they were no longer in touch when the controversy arose, it did not affect her. She added saying, “That part didn’t affect me, because we had already stopped talking by then.” Hardik’s remark on Koffee With Karan went viral on the Internet in 2019 and Esha was among the few celebrities who publicly criticized it for misogynistic tone. She also said that she now refrains from adding to the criticism. Esha said that they were already going through enough and what good would she would do if she jumped in with more criticism? Esha also revealed the reason behind their relationship not progressing. She said that her preference for grounded, meaningful relationships away from the public eye might have contrasted with Pandya’s public life. On the work front, Esha was seen in Ek Badnaam Aashram 3 Part 2 along with Bobby Deol. She played the role of DCP Laxmi Rathi in One Day: Justice Delivered. She will be seen in Hera Pheri 3.
