Hardik Pandya joins MS Dhoni Club: Hardik Pandya, playing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, has done wonders. This tournament is of T20 format. When big players play T20, they want to score a century in it. But, Hardik Pandya has to be acknowledged for what he has done in T20 without scoring a century. By doing so, he has equaled Dhoni in terms of the milestones he has reached. Simply put, Hardik Pandya has shown the world by doing Dhoni’s work.
Which work of Dhoni did Pandya do?
Now the question is what is meant by Dhoni’s work here? So its strings connect to hitting 300 plus sixes in T20 cricket. Till now MS Dhoni was the only Indian in T20 cricket who had hit 300 plus sixes without scoring a century. But, now Hardik Pandya has become the second Indian to join that club.

Hardik Pandya joined Dhoni’s club during the match played against Punjab in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 2 December 2025. In this match, he faced 42 balls and scored unbeaten 77 runs at a strike rate of 183.33, which included 4 sixes and 7 fours. Pandya had joined Dhoni’s club as soon as he hit the first six during the innings.
Like Dhoni, he hit 300 sixes without scoring a T20 century.
MS Dhoni has hit a total of 350 sixes in 355 innings of T20. During this period he did not score a single century. Similarly, Hardik Pandya has also hit 303 sixes in 268 innings of 309 T20s. And, he also did not score any century. Pandya’s best score in T20 has been 91 runs.
