HARA MK-1: Laser weapon like Custar Wars made in India, will destroy drone-missile from a distance of 1-2 km. Indian Startup Develops Star Wars Inspired Hara Mk 1 Laser Weapon

Karnataka’s private company Carbine Systems has successfully tested ‘Hara MK-1’ laser weapon. This 10kW laser can destroy drones and missiles at a distance of 1-2 km. This is the first private company in the country which has made this weapon without government help.

New Delhi: When many countries of the world are adopting new generation weapons, at the same time ‘Carbine Systems’, a company from Belagavi, Karnataka has made a laser weapon like Hollywood’s ‘Star Wars’ and successfully tested it. With this, it has become the first private company in the country to manufacture such a weapon.

Belagavi’s aerospace and defense startup ‘Carbine Systems’ has successfully completed the indoor test of ‘Hyper Amplification Radiant Array’ (Hara MK-1), a laser target destroying weapon. Carbine Systems Company was started in 2023 by two brothers, Girish Joshi and Kedar Joshi, hailing from Belagavi.

What is this Hara MK-1?

It is a device that can be placed on a table and is designed to emit 10 kilowatts of laser light. Small laser rays combine to form a powerful beam, which produces heat and destroys its target without a bullet. Using this technology, even drones and missiles located 1-2 kilometers away can be destroyed.

Carbine made without any government help

Usually such modern equipment is made by big companies or DRDO. But Carbine has created a sophisticated weapon like laser without any government help. This weapon, which further strengthens ‘Make in India’, has been named ‘Hara’ after Lord Shiva, which means ‘destroyer’.
