It’s Thalapathy Vijay’s 51st birthday today, June 22, and fans are celebrating in full swing. Adding to the joy, the makers of his upcoming and possibly final film, Jana Nayagan , revealed the first poster.
Amid the celebrations, director Atlee shared a heartfelt birthday message for the Mersal star.

Taking to his Instagram handle, the filmmaker dropped a clip of fans going gaga in the cinema hall over Mersal re-releasing in theatres. Sharing the video, he wrote, “Happy Birthday @actorvijay Anna. Ennoda annae. Ennoda thalapathy (My elder brother. My Thalapathy)

Mersal has been re-released on June 20 to honour the special occasion. This comes after Vijay’s earlier films Sachein and Ghilli were successfully re-released in theatres. The re-release is part of the celebrations for his birthday on June 22. The movie was directed by Atlee and was the 100th film produced by Thenandal Studio Limited.

However, to celebrate Thalapathy Vijay’s 51st birthday on June 22 in the right way, fans got a special surprise, the first look at his final film, Jana Nayagan. At midnight, music director Anirudh Ravichander released the theme and teaser, called The First Roar, which quickly went viral on social media.
The film, directed by H. Vinoth, shows Vijay in a powerful role, and the teaser gives a glimpse of the action-packed drama fans can expect.
Jana Nayagan features a star-studded cast. Along with Thalapathy Vijay, the film includes Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, and Narain. The film is produced by Venkat K. Narayana, with Jagadish Palanisamy and Lohith N.K. as co-producers. Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
