On August 29, Telugu film star, Akkineni Nagarjuna has turned 66. The also marks his 39th year in the film industry. On the occasion of his birthday, several well-known film personalities took to their social media pages to wish the Coolie actor on his special day.

Nagarjuna earned the moniker King from the 2008 film King that he starred in. Sreenu Vaitla, who had directed King, penned on his X page, “From path-breaking films to carrying forward a royal legacy, you’ve always inspired us. You spread positivity and maintain a graceful presence wherever you go. I will always cherish the KING diaries. Eagerly waiting for your century to create history again, sir!”

During a recent meet, Nagarjuna confirmed that he is working with Tamil filmmaker R Karthik on the project. Sharing more details about the film, Nagarjuna stated, “We have been working on the script since 6-7 months. It’s a family drama, with element of action. we will start the shoot.”

Nagarjuna was last seen in Dhanush’s Kuberaa and Rajinikanth’s Coolie. Both the films have emerged to become successful at the box office.
