The most important thing to recite Sunderkand is time. If you have recited Sunderkand in the morning on this auspicious occasion, then it is very good. If you are going to recite Sunderkand this evening also, then do it only after 4 pm. Reciting Sundarakad in the morning is considered very auspicious. At the same time, starting lessons after 12 noon is not very auspicious and one cannot get full results from it.

Before reading Sunderkand, take bath and wear clean clothes. After this place a red post. Spread a clean red colored cloth on it. After this, place a picture or idol of Hanuman ji on it.
