Actress and Sohael Khaturiya’s divorce was recently finalised. The duo formally ended their marriage after being granted a divorce with mutual consent by the Bandra Family Court.
The actress had been married to Sohael for nearly four years. They had exchanged wedding vows in a lavish ceremony. However, Hansika and Sohael grew apart over the years. Differences in personality, lifestyle, and outlook reportedly caused repeated disagreements between them. And they decided to go separate ways. Amid this, Hansika’s ex sister-in-law, Muskan Nancy James, has shared a cryptic note on social media.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Hansika’s former sister-in-law, Muskan, shared a note that read, “Requesting a few social media platforms to please keep me away from someone else’s life. You have always been supportive and understanding, and I truly appreciate that.” Take a look:

She further mentioned, “Kindly don’t associate me with someone’s absolutely fake world. I don’t have Paid PR-let time reveal the truth. ‘Sab Samay ka khel Hai’. Peace, Love & Karma.”
For the unversed, Hansika and Sohael tied the knot on December 4, 2022 at the Mundota Fort And Palace in Jaipur, Rajasthan. After the actress married Sohael, she was accused of stealing her best friend Rinky Bajaj’s husband. Sohael was earlier married to Rinky. Post their divorce, he exchanged wedding vows with Hansika.

Back in 2023, in the first episode of Love Shaadi Drama, Hansika broke silence on the controversy and allegations of “Just because I knew the person at that time doesn’t mean it was my fault. I have nothing to do with this,” she said while reacting to the accusations. The actress added that it’s very easy for people to point at her and make her the villain because she is a public figure. She stated that this is the price she paid for being a celebrity.

Meanwhile, lawyer Adnan Shaikh told NDTV that Hansika was granted by mutual consent after she and Sohael acknowledged that their marriage had irretrievably broken down. He further told the publication that the actress didn’t seek any financial settlement. “Our client now wishes to move forward with her life and professional commitments,” he added.
On the work front, Hansika was last seen in the Tamil film, Guardian. Directed by Sabari and Guru Saravanan, the movie was theatrically released on March 8, 2024.
