Hansika admitted that she had briefly uploaded the video to her subscriber-only account but removed it within minutes after realising it was a mistake. According to her statement, a few subscribers screen-recorded the clip before it was deleted and later shared it publicly. Describing the upload as a “careless and silly decision,” Hansika said she regretted the incident and decided to speak publicly after spending days processing its emotional impact.

Following the leak, several social media users accused Hansika of intentionally posting the clip to attract attention or boost subscription revenue. The actress and content creator rejected those allegations, mentioning that neither money nor publicity motivated her actions.

She also mentioned the timing of the controversy, noting that her sister Ahaana Krishna’s music video was released just days later. Hansika also explained that she initially considered shutting down the subscription service altogether but ultimately chose to raise the price from Rs 299 to Rs 399 temporarily in an effort to discourage new subscribers.
