The case of the killing of Farsa wala Baba alias Chandrashekhar by cattle smugglers in Mathura’s Chhata has now taken a political and religious turn. Bageshwar Dham’s Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Krishna Shastri has reacted sharply to this incident and demanded hanging of the culprits.

Dhirendra Shastri is doing special worship of Mata Rani these days. When he came to give darshan to the devotees on Saturday evening, the sorrow of Farsa Baba’s death was clearly visible on his face. He said, ‘It is rare to find a dedicated cow protector like Farsa Baba. The way he was crushed to death is a heinous crime. I pray to Balaji that the culprits get strict punishment and Baba gets a place at his feet.
‘I and my family are receiving death threats’
Bageshwar Baba made a big revelation during this time and said that he and his family are continuously receiving death threats for talking about Hindutva. He said emotionally that if we cannot enter the field ourselves, then at least stand with those warriors who are risking their lives for religion.

Baba Chandrashekhar, originally a resident of Firozabad, had adopted renunciation at the age of 8. Baba, who was a part of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement in Ayodhya, had made Braj his work place for the last many years.
