A case of illegal relationship on the pretext of marriage has been registered in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The victim is a resident of Chhattisgarh. According to the victim, she had met a person named Shakti Pratap Singh, a resident of Lucknow, through Shaadi.com.
A friend of Shakti contacted the victim and called her to Lucknow with the promise of marriage. Here he took her to a hotel and had relations with the girl. During this, the accused made objectionable photos and videos of the girl. The accused had also extorted lakhs of rupees from the girl by threatening to make it viral. Now a case has been registered in this matter in Gotami Nagar extension police station. The police have been involved in the investigation of the case.

Actually, according to the victim Pinky, a resident of Raipur, Chhattisgarh, she met Shakti Pratap Singh through Shaadi.com in March 2025. During the conversation, Shakti had mentioned his friends Aditya Singh and Harsh Raghuvanshi. Later, by arranging some number, Harsh Raghuvanshi contacted the victim. During the conversation, Harsh had taken the victim into confidence and called her to Lucknow. The victim alleged that on August 13, 2025, Harsh Raghuvanshi had physical relations with her in a hotel located in Gomti Nagar after promising marriage and also made personal photos and videos.
After this, accused Harsh had collected around Rs 1.80 lakh by threatening to make the video viral. According to the victim, Harsh again called her to Lucknow asking her to delete the video and photo. The victim came to Lucknow again on 26 November 2025. Harsh then raped her but did not delete the video. The victim told that now the accused has demanded Rs 5 lakh and has threatened to make the video viral and kill her if she does not give it.

The victim alleges that she is also being pressured to have a relationship with the accused and his associates. In this case, the victim has lodged an FIR with the police and demanded strict legal action. On the other hand, based on the complaint of the victim, an FIR has been registered against Harsh Raghuvanshi in Gomti Nagar extension police station. SHO Gomti Nagar Extension said that an FIR has been registered in this matter. The matter is being investigated.
