Hackers attack on Rinku Singh’s FB account, victim of cyber crime before T20 World Cup

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is going to start in India from Saturday 7th February. The Indian team will take the field on the very first day of the tournament, where it will face USA. The Indian team is busy preparing for this tournament, but just before this, the team’s star finisher Rinku Singh is stuck in a big problem. According to the information, cyber criminals have attacked the social media account of the Indian batsman, due to which the danger of major fraud is looming. Rinku’s brother has filed a complaint with the police in this matter.

Rinku complained, police filed a case

According to the information, the Facebook account of Rinku Singh, resident of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, has been hacked. Aligarh Police SSP Neeraj Jadaun told the media that Rinku had alerted him about suspicious activities. According to the SSP, Rinku informed him about this over a phone call. During this he told that he has not been using this account for some time but suspicious activities are taking place in it.

After the initial complaint, Rinku’s brother Sonu gave a written complaint to the police, on the basis of which Aligarh Police has registered an FIR. However, the police have said that at present it is not clear when this account was hacked and who the hackers are. Rinku has about 1.6 million followers on this Facebook account. In such a situation, there is a possibility of its misuse or financial fraud. However, the police have also said that at present there is no indication whether any such financial fraud has taken place or not.

Rinku will play the first match

Rinku is in Mumbai with Team India, where the Indian team’s first match will be against USA on Saturday 7th February. Rinku is likely to play in this match. Recently, he returned to the playing-11 in the series against New Zealand and proved himself with his stormy batting. Apart from this, Rinku also impressed with her batting in the warm-up match against South Africa.
