India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. India and the US relations are stressed due to a fee of $ 1 million and 50% tariffs on H-1B Visa.
India US Trade Agreement: US President Donald Trump has imposed 50% tariff on India. He imposed a fee of $ 1 lakh (more than 88 lakh rupees) on H-1B Visa recently. H1B visa holders are 70 percent Indian.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has arrived in America to attend the 80th United Nations General Assembly session. He met US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. H-1B visa concerns and business issues were discussed between the two.

Talk on trade agreement between India and America
The trade agreement is being negotiated between India and the US. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal is going to Washington, leading the delegation for talks. During the trade talks in July, US President Donald Trump imposed a 25% tariff on goods imported from India. Later, due to the purchase of Russian oil by India, 25% of additional tariffs were imposed. This increased the tension between India and America. Now the two countries have resumed talks with the aim of restoring stability in their economic partnership.
Donald Trump is pressurizing India

India is not ready to open its agriculture and dairy sector for American imports. India has clearly stated that non -veg milk products will not be imported. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has clearly stated that the interests of farmers, cattle rearers and fishermen will not be compromised.
Jaishankar and Rubio met last time in July
The last meeting of Jaishankar and Rubio took place in July for a meeting of quad foreign ministers at Washington DC. Their meeting is taking place on the day India and America will discuss a trade agreement to meet as soon as possible.

A delegation led by Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will meet the US side in the city on Monday. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said in a statement, “The delegation plans to carry forward the discussion with the objective of concluding an early conclusion on the transitative business agreement.”
