Netflix Greenlights Show Amidst Shake-up

The ambitious two-season order for “The Apology” comes amid an executive shake-up at Netflix, which followed an announcement that the company was laying off 6% of its employees. Chief content officer Bela Bajaria was ousted from the streamer last week and was replaced with Peter Rice, while head of film Dan Lin left the company on Monday morning. Meanwhile, TV boss Jinny Howe, who oversees U.S. and Canada scripted series, has weathered the storm, reported Variety. (ANI)
