Robert Vadra could not present evidence in front of ED
According to Times Now report, ED sources have said that Vadra had recorded the statement on 15-16 April 2025. During interrogation, he put responsibility on his three deceased companions, HL Pahwa, Rajesh Khurana and Mahesh Nagar. Claimed that he had worked on his behalf. The agency said that when the assistant documents were sought from him, “he did not give any documentary evidence.”
Robert Vadra earned Rs 58 crore through his two companies
The ED claims that Vadra earned around Rs 58 crore from alleged illegal activities through its companies Skylight Hospitality Private Limited and Blue Breeze Trading Private Limited (BBTPL). Of these, Rs 5 crore was earned through BBTPL and Rs 53 crore through skylight hospitality. This amount was used to achieve movable and immovable properties in its name or through his institutions.
Purchase of fraudulent land
Please tell that this case is related to an FIR lodged in Gurugram in 2018. It asked Skylite Hospitality to purchase 3.53 acres of land from Omkareshwar Properties Private Limited to Shikohpur, Sector 83 from alleged fraud. The ED alleges that the sale document was misrepresented. In this, the amount of Rs 15 crore was said to be Rs 7.5 crore. The payment was falsely claimed by the check, which was never redeemed.
In July, the ED filed prosecution complaint against Vadra and 10 others. On 16 July, the ED issued an order for temporary attachment of 43 properties worth Rs 37.64 crore associated with Vadra and his institutions. These include agricultural land in Faridabad, Gurugram and commercial units in Noida and land in Bikaner. The agency says that these assets were created from the income of crime.
