Gurmeet Choudhary Pays Emotional Tribute to Cancer Survivor Fan Monica: ‘You Will Always Have a Place in My Heart’

Actor Gurmeet Choudhary has penned an emotional tribute to his longtime fan Monica, who passed away after battling cancer, remembering the special bond they shared over the years.

In a heartfelt note on Instagram, the Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi and Ramayan actor said Monica had become much more than a fan to him, describing her as family. He recalled how she had consistently supported and celebrated every milestone in his career, from his projects to his achievements.

“Monica, my biggest fan… I never imagined I would be writing this note for you. I still can’t believe you’re gone,” Gurmeet wrote.

The actor also remembered meeting Monica in Durban, South Africa, where she would be by his side whenever he visited. He said their bond had grown stronger over the years through personal meetings and conversations.

Gurmeet recalled the time Monica told him about her cancer diagnosis, saying he had encouraged her to keep fighting during their phone and video calls.

“I would always tell you, ‘You are a fighter. Keep fighting. Everything will be alright,’” he wrote.

Although Monica often told him that he motivated her, Gurmeet said her courage, warmth and affection had also given him strength.

“You used to tell me that I motivated you. But Monica, I hope you knew how much strength I got from you,” he shared.

Remembering their conversations and meetings, the actor said he would miss her voice and the happiness on her face whenever they met.

Offering condolences to her family, Gurmeet concluded his tribute by thanking Monica for years of love and support, adding, “You will always have a place in my heart.”
