Gulshan Devaiah, who recently impressed film buffs with his performance in Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 is all set to make his Tamil debut in Legacy, which stars Madhavan in the lead.
In a recent statement, Gulshan Deviah spoke about his role in the upcoming series and his expressed excitement on working in a Tamil project.

According to the plot, the series follows “an ageing patriarch of a powerful crime family” as he “races against time to anoint a successor to protect his mighty empire from an inevitable siege. He will have to fight to save the family, his empire and most importantly – his legacy.”
Gulshan Devaiah opened up about working in the Netflix series. He said “Legacy is a wonderful opportunity for me to find linguistic diversity in my career. After about 14 years of working primarily only in Hindi, I feel settled enough to spread my wings a bit and fly. I play a cop who is struggling with his sense of responsibility towards his duty, family, and self. It’s been a very satisfying experience for me with Legacy, and I’m eager to get back to Chennai for my final schedule.”
Legacy also stars Nimisha Sajayan, Gautham Karthik, Vaiyapuri, Abhishek Banerjee, Swaswika, Kaali Venkat, Harish Uthaman, and Ramesh Thilak. On working with the ensemble, Gulshan added, “It’s also my privilege that I’m getting to share the screen with Madhavan, Nimisha, Abhishek, Gautham Karthik, Mr Viyapuri, and other well-established, experienced actors from the Tamil industry.”
The series is written and directed by Charukesh Sekar, who previously directed the Telugu film Ammu, starring Aishwarya Lekshmi, Naveen Chandra, and Bobby Simha. The series is produced by Kalyan Subramanian of Stone Bench Pvt Ltd. A release date for the series is yet to be announced.
