Green Crackers in Delhi-NCR: Before Diwali, the Supreme Court has issued a big order. The court has given permission to sell and burn green crackers in Delhi-NCR. The court also clarified that after October 21, there will be a ban on the sale of green firecrackers again.
Green Crackers in Delhi-NCR: Supreme Court has given a gift to the people of Delhi-NCR before Diwali. While giving the verdict, the bench of Chief Justice BR Gavai and Justice Vinod Chandran has given permission to burn green crackers in Delhi-NCR. In the last hearing, the court itself had indicated that imposing a complete ban on firecrackers is neither practical nor right.
Firecrackers can be burnt from 18th to 21st October
The Supreme Court has given permission to burst green crackers from October 18 to October 21 only for Diwali. Let us tell you that firecrackers can be burst from 6 am to 7 am and from 8 pm to 10 pm. CJI B R Gavai said a balanced approach has to be taken in this matter and permission should be given with restraint without harming the environment. The court clarified that after October 21, there will be a ban on the sale of green firecrackers again. If in such a situation, strict action will be taken against the manufacturers and sellers who violate the rules.
