Railways has introduced RailOne app with multiple services. 3% discount is available on digital booking of unreserved tickets through this app. This offer is limited from January 14 to July 14.
New Delhi: Most of the people in India depend on trains for travel. Thousands of passengers travel by train every day. Earlier, passengers used a variety of apps for different services related to railways. But, now Railways has combined all these together and launched an app named RailOne.
This app has facilities ranging from viewing the live location of the train to ordering food. RailOne app has become quite popular among passengers. Now, to make this app reach more people, Indian Railways has come up with an offer. You will get a discount of 3% on booking unreserved tickets through RailOne app. For this, payment will have to be done digitally. This offer is for a limited period only, which will run from January 14 to July 14. Let us see what needs to be done to take advantage of this offer.
1. Download RailOne App
Download the RailOne app from the official app store.
2. Sign in to create an account
Log in with your existing Railway credentials or complete your registration instantly with your mobile number. Verify your details via OTP to activate your account.
3. Complete the profile by providing information
Fill in the information like your name and contact mobile number. This will make booking easier and tickets will be easily available.
4. Select your journey and ticket type
Select the option of unreserved ticket booking. Then fill in the date of journey as well as the information from where to go.
5. Make payment through digital mode
Choose any digital payment method like UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking. Discount will be available only on digital payments made through the app.
6. Check the fare before confirming
3% discount will be automatically applied on unreserved tickets. You will see the reduced price before completing your payment.
7. Keep your ticket safe after booking
Once payment is made, your ticket will be generated in the app itself. Save it on your phone for checking while traveling.
