What are the benefits of the new labor codes?

1- Minimum salary will be received on time

Every employee will now get minimum wage on time. Its biggest benefit will be increased economic security of people in the society.

2- Gratuity for fixed-term employees

Fixed-term employees will now be entitled to gratuity only after working for one year. This means that now there will be no requirement to work for 5 years to get gratuity.

3- Social security to 40 crore employees

More than 40 crore employees across the country will now get the benefits of PF, insurance and other social security.

4- Double pay for overtime

Now employees will get double salary for overtime.

5- Complete security for those working in risky sectors

Employees who do extremely risky work will be provided 100% medical security.

Health checkup facility for those aged 6- 40+

Employees above 40 years of age will be provided the facility of free health checkup every year.

7- Women have equal rights

Women will get equal pay and respect in all sectors. Apart from this, they will be given equal opportunities in all types of work.

8- Appointment letter to youth

All youth will be given written appointment letters in jobs, so that employment can be made more transparent.

Fixed term employee will get all the benefits related to permanent employee.

It has become clear in the new Labor Code that fixed term employees will get all the benefits related to permanent employees, including leave, medical and social security. Apart from getting salary equal to that of permanent staff, protection facilities will also increase.
