Lucknow. The grand inauguration of the 19th National Jamboree of Bharat Scouts and Guides was done by Governor Anandiben Patel on Monday. The inaugural ceremony was held at Defense Expo Ground, Vrindavan Yojana, Lucknow. The Governor appreciated the discipline, energy and presentations of the Scout-Guides who came from India and abroad.
Governor Anandiben Patel encouraged the children
Governor Anandiben Patel expressed happiness after seeing the presentations of the children. He said that the energy and confidence in children makes one feel proud. He said that the Scout-Guide organization strengthens important feelings like service, leadership, discipline and patriotism in children. He said that this 19th National Jamboree/Diamond Jubilee Jamboree is a celebration of 75 years of the organization. More than 33,000 scout-guide participants from India and abroad are taking part in this event. The venue echoed with slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’.
Jamboree is a powerful platform for children’s self-confidence and development.
The Governor welcomed the Scout-Guide participants, trainers, teachers and parents from India and abroad.
