Grand Alliance dominates in Patna-Sarnar-Siwan, this time the path of NDA will be difficult? , Mahagathbandhan Dominates Patna Saran Siwan in Bihar Election 2025

The strong hold of the Grand Alliance in a total of 46 seats of Patna, Saran and Siwan is becoming a big challenge for the NDA. The influence of opposition has increased on unemployment, flood relief and local issues, due to which the path of NDA is considered difficult this time.

Patna: Political activities have intensified before the Bihar assembly elections 2025. In such a situation, if we look at the electoral equations, the strong hold of the Grand Alliance in important areas like the capital Patna to Saran and Siwan is becoming a big challenge for the NDA. The figures of the previous elections are clearly indicating that if the opposition retains its strategy, the BJP and JDU -led coalition may feel difficulty in establishing its impact here.

Opposition lead in Patna

The capital Patna has always been the center of Bihar politics. Out of the total 14 assembly seats here, the grand alliance captured 9, which is about 64 percent. At the same time, the NDA had to satisfy only 5 seats. This figure suggests that the urban voter is bent towards the opposition. Tejashwi Yadav’s frequent visits, dialogue with student-youth organizations and emphasis on issues like unemployment have strengthened the hold of the Grand Alliance.

Opposition dominated in Saran division

Out of the total 24 seats in Saran division, 15 seats went to the Grand Alliance account, ie 62.5 percent. The NDA got only 9 seats. The support of the Grand Alliance has increased on questions like local issues, agrarian crisis, floods, lack of health facilities in the rural and semi-urban population here. The active local leadership is also the reason for the opposition’s lead.

Opposition in Siwan is clearly dominated

Out of 8 seats in Siwan district, 6 seats were occupied by the opposition, ie 75 percent, while the NDA was limited to only 2 seats. Siwan’s voters appeared angry at the issues of crime, administrative failure and development. The Grand Alliance tried to capitalize on these resentment in its favor and he also succeeded in it.

NDA strategy

Experts say that in this election, the NDA is targeting women, youth and backward class voters as part of its strategy, so a team has been sent to the ground level to communicate with them. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the government is focusing on issues like women empowerment, youth employment and domicile policy.

Grand Alliance confidence

The grand alliance under the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav is strengthening its hold through public meetings and visits. The party believes that NDA has failed on issues like unemployment, flood relief, education and health, which has led to the opposition. The activism of local leaders is also going in their favor.

NDA’s path will be difficult

In a total of 46 seats of Patna, Saran and Siwan, the Grand Alliance won 30 seats (65%) while NDA got 16 seats (35%). If the same trend remains in 2025, it can be very difficult for the NDA to get a majority in the state. Ethnic equations, local leadership, selection of candidates and regional issues will prove to be decisive in the upcoming election. Political experts believe that the NDA will have to make a new strategy by studying the reasons of its defeat deeply. At the same time, the opposition is also taking advantage of this opportunity and is busy strengthening its base.
