In ‘Aankhen’, not one or two but three actors had double roles, due to which the film had a tremendous flavor of comedy. In this film, Govinda played the role of Ritu’s (Ritu Shivpuri) husband Vijay i.e. Bunnu, while Govinda also played the role of Bunnu’s brother Mannu and Chandramukhi’s (Shilpa Shirodkar) husband. Apart from them, Kader Khan (Munnu and Bunnu’s father Hansmukh Rai and Hansmukh’s brother Neelkanth Rai), and Raj Babbar (Chief Minister and Sarang) were also seen in double roles.
