Bollywood star Govinda has officially announced his return to films with Roopa. According to ANI, the actor unveiled the project during a press conference and shared his excitement about beginning a fresh journey in cinema. His last theatrical release was Rangeela Raja in 2019.

He said, “Perhaps it was destiny that I was ignored many times. People kept saying, ‘He won’t be seen in films anymore.’ But I have always believed in making a fresh start. I pray to God that this film achieves everything I have imagined and creates magic beyond people’s expectations.”
He also shared that Roopa is especially made for young audiences and hopes it will inspire them to dream big and believe that dreams can come true.
Govinda Opens Up About His Lucky Number 14
During the interaction, Govinda spoke about his strong belief in numerology and explained why the number 14 has always been special in his life.
He said, “The number 14 has always been my lucky number. I started believing in numerology when I was just 14 years old. By God’s grace, I signed 14 films in a single week, which gave me 14 years of superstardom. Later, I became an MP in the 14th Lok Sabha. After that, I struggled for 14 years before returning to films.”
The actor added that he did not want to wait any longer and decided it was the right time to begin again. He expressed confidence that Roopa would mark the start of a new and successful phase in his career.
