She said the visit was connected to seeking blessings for their film and asked why such an appearance was being treated differently from promotional outings involving actors and actresses in the entertainment industry.

Rani maintained that she and Govinda had announced a film project, rather than making any announcement about a romantic relationship. She said their public appearances together should therefore not automatically be interpreted as an attempt to display their personal lives.
According to Rani, the two are working together professionally and will continue to appear together as part of their association with the project. She also suggested that people uncomfortable with their appearances should simply ignore them rather than speculate about their relationship.
