Govinda Issues Public Notice Amid Second Marriage Rumours, Warns Of Rs 100 Crore Legal Action

Bollywood actor Govinda has lately been in the news for his public feud with wife Sunita Ahuja. Recently, the former Lock Upp: Sach Ya Saza contestant withdrew her divorce petition against her husband. She later claimed that Govinda was planning to marry his co-star, Komal Rani Swarnkar, whom she has alleged is his rumoured girlfriend. While the actor and former Member of Parliament’s manager has dismissed the rumours, Govinda has maintained silence amid the controversy surrounding his marital life. However, he has finally reacted to the reports by issuing a strong public notice against false and unverified information.

According to a report by ANI,   has a strong warning against false and unverified reports about his personal and family life. He has released a public notice, stating that legal action could be taken against those responsible. This comes amid rumours surrounding his marriage and family. He warned individuals, media organisations, digital platforms and content creators against sharing false, defamatory, fabricated or unverified content.

In the legal notice,   also raised concerns over the misuse of AI-generated material, including morphed images, deepfakes, videos and audio recordings. It reportedly stated that no permission has been granted to use or manipulate his voice, photographs, identity, likeness or material related to his private and family life.

Reportedly, his legal team has also warned that civil and criminal action could be pursued, with damages of up to Rs 100 crore being sought.

Govinda Manager Reacts To Second Marriage Rumours

The development comes shortly after Govinda’s manager confirmed that Sunita had withdrawn her divorce petition at Mumbai’s Bandra Family Court. This brought an end to the case that had reportedly been pending for two years.

He also reacted to claims about the actor planning a second marriage and stated that there was no truth to the rumours “Aisa kuch nahi hai aur nahi hoga. Koi   nahi ho rahi (There’s nothing like this, nor will it happen. There’s no second marriage happening),” he told a news portal. He suggested that Sunita may have had personal reasons behind her making such claims.

The manager further argued that if Govinda had plans to get married the second time, he would have filed for divorce himself. He also expressed hope that the couple would resolve their differences and do what was best for themselves and their children.
