During this time, Govinda prayed to God to give wisdom to his family. According to Govinda, “I pray to God to take me out of this problem. I also pray for the well-being of my children. I pray that there is no misunderstanding and I do not suffocate. I make a humble request, especially to my family.” Govinda and Sunita were married in 1987. They have two children Tina and Yashvardhan. Since 2025, there have been continuous reports of rift in the relationship between Govinda and Sunita. It is claimed that the reason for this is Govinda’s alleged extra marital affair. However, Sunita has denied the news of divorce.
