The government has made it clear that by December 2025, the process of sending the first installment of 10 thousand rupees to the accounts of the beneficiaries will continue.

PM Modi and CM Nitish transferred money to the account of 75 lakh women

On September 26, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar jointly transferred Rs 7500 crore to the accounts of 75 lakh women. From this platform, the Chief Minister had announced that on October 3, funds will be sent to the accounts of other women. Now the government has decided that this process will not be interrupted even during the election period.

Additional financial assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh

Under the Nitish government’s scheme, initial assistance is being given to a woman of every household to start employment. In the first installment, Rs 10,000 is directly available through DBT, while after six months, additional financial assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh will be given after assessing.

Registration process is still going on

Lakhs of women have applied to it since the announcement of the plan in the end of August. So far, the amount has reached the account of 75 lakh women and the registration process is still going on. The newly added women will also get 10-10 thousand rupees in the next installments.

Rash transfer dates announced

The government has also declared dates for transfer of funds. Money will go to the account on 3, 6, 17, 24 and 31 in October. In November, money will be sent to the beneficiaries account on 7, 14, 21, 28 and December 5, 12, 19 and 26 in December.
