The festival of Govardhan Puja is celebrated every year on the Pratipada date of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month. This year this date is starting today at 5:54 pm. This date will end on 22nd October i.e. tomorrow night at 8:16 pm. In such a situation, according to the birth date, the festival of Govardhan Puja will be celebrated tomorrow.

Govardhan puja auspicious time(Govardhan Puja 2025 Subh Muhurat,

Tomorrow the auspicious time of Govardhan Puja will start at 6.26 am. This auspicious time will last till 8:48 pm. People will get total puja duration of 02 hours 16 minutes. The second Muhurta of Govardhan Puja will start at 3.29 pm. This auspicious time will last till 5.44 pm.

Govardhan puja method (Govardhan Puja Method,

On the day of Govardhan Puja, one should wake up early in the morning and take bath. Then one should wear clean clothes. If there is a cow and its calf in the house, they should be decorated with colors and peacock feathers. Oil or ocher should be applied on their horns. The figure of Govardhan Maharaj should be made. Along with this, figures of cow and calf are also required. Mountains and figures should be decorated with Apamarga (chirchita). Then one should worship Govardhan Maharaj as per the rituals. An earthen lamp should be kept at the navel place of Govardhan Maharaj. Curd, Ganga water, honey, batasha, milk etc. should be kept in the lamp. After the puja, it should be distributed as Prasad. At the time of Parikrama, one should take the Kalash in hand and circumambulate it seven times by flowing a stream of water. On this day, at the time of Lord Krishna, his idol should be bathed with milk, curd and Ganga water. Flowers, kumkum-turmeric, sandalwood and Akshat should be offered. Shodashopachar puja should be performed. Aarti should be performed at the end.
