According to the Panchang, this year the Ashtami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month will start on 29th October i.e. today at 09.23 am. This date will end tomorrow on 30th October at 10.06 am. In such a situation, according to Udaya Tithi, this year the festival of Gopashtami will be celebrated on 30th October i.e. tomorrow. On the day of Gopashtami, it would be good to worship Gopashtami for 10.06 minutes after sunrise.
Feed these things to Mother Cow on the day of Gopashtami
- On the day of Gopashtami, feed green grass or fresh fodder to Mother Cow.
- On this day, feed grains like jaggery, roti and gram to mother cow.
- Feed banana and apple as fruits to mother cow.
Offer food to mother cow in this way
Wake up early in the morning and take bath. Also clean the cow dung by bathing it with clean water or wiping it. Apply roli and sandalwood on their forehead. Offer flowers and then serve the food with love. Do not force feed anything to the mother cow. Let them eat comfortably. After offering food, perform Aarti of Mother Cow and go around once and pay obeisance to her.
