New Delhi: Google has expanded its budget-friendly Google AI Plus subscription to 35 additional countries and territories. The plan is now available in major markets such as the US, South Korea, and several other regions. It is priced at $7.99 per month in the US, while Indian users can subscribe for Rs 399 per month, placing it among Google’s most affordable AI plans so far.
Google first launched the AI Plus plan in September 2024 in Indonesia. After the initial launch, Google gradually extended the plan to other regions. Following the latest expansion, it is now available in global markets, allowing users to use Google’s AI tools without paying for higher-priced plans.

The Google AI Plus plan focuses on tools meant for daily productivity and creative work. Subscribers can access Gemini 3 Pro and Nano Banana Pro models through the Gemini app. The plan also includes Flow, Google’s AI filmmaking tool, along with research and writing support via NotebookLM.
In addition to AI tools, users also get 200GB of cloud storage, which can be shared with up to five family members. Google has also confirmed that users subscribed to the Google One Premium 2TB plan will receive all AI Plus features automatically, at no extra cost.

To attract new users sign-ups, Google is offering a 50 per cent discount for new users. In the US, the plan will cost $3.99 per month for the first two months, while in India, new subscribers can get it for Rs 199 per month for the first six months.
With this pricing and feature list, Google AI Plus will compete directly with OpenAI’s ChatGPT Go plan, as Google looks to boost usage by targeting students, creators, and families.
