Many major decisions were taken in the meeting of the Council of Ministers chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The amount of Ladli Brahmin Yojana was increased to Rs 1500, Advaita Lok in Omkareshwar was approved and it was decided to install solar rooftops on government buildings.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers, which decides the political and administrative direction of Madhya Pradesh, was held in Mantralaya on Monday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Many major decisions were taken in the meeting which are related to the development of the state, energy saving and women empowerment. The most important decision was to increase the amount of financial assistance given under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Brahmin Yojana, now the sisters will get Rs 1500 per month instead of Rs 1250.
Ladli bahana scheme amount is Rs 1500 per month
It was decided in the meeting that the monthly amount of Mukhyamantri Ladli Brahmin Yojana will be increased by Rs 250. In March 2023, this scheme started at Rs 1000 monthly and from September 2023 it was increased to Rs 1250. Now from November 2025 this amount will be Rs 1500 per month. According to the state government, this increase will lead to an additional budget burden of Rs 1793 crore 75 lakh, taking the potential expenditure for the financial year 2025-26 to Rs 20,450 crore 99 lakh.

Green signal for the creation of ‘Advaita Lok’
The Council of Ministers approved the revised cost of Rs 2424 crore 369 lakh for the construction of Acharya Shankar Museum “Advaita Lok” at Omkareshwar. The project is part of the Ekatm Dham scheme, which includes major constructions such as the 108 feet high Acharya Shankar statue, Shankar Museum, International Institute of Vedanta and Advaita Nilayam. This project will be implemented by MPTDC.
Solar rooftop plants will be installed on government buildings
With the aim of promoting energy saving and green energy, the government approved the installation of solar rooftop plants through RESCO method on all government buildings of the state under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme. Government departments will not have to make any investment in this. The developer entity will set up the plant and will also be responsible for its maintenance for 25 years. Under this scheme, thousands of kilowatt capacity solar plants will be installed across the state including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, which will result in huge savings in electricity expenses to government institutions.
New court in Mandhata tehsil
To strengthen the judicial system, the Council of Ministers approved the establishment of the Court of Civil Judge (Junior Division) in Mandhata tehsil of Khandwa district. Under this, a total of 7 new posts will be created – including one judge and 6 support staff. This will cost Rs 52 lakh 76 thousand every year.
The meeting started with ‘Vande Mataram’
The meeting of the Council of Ministers started with the singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ in a patriotic atmosphere. The Chief Minister said that every decision of the state government is a step towards public welfare, cultural pride and self-reliant Madhya Pradesh.
