Rajasthan krishna yantra scheme: The Rajasthan government has launched the Krishi Yantra Yojana under its Agriculture Department, which aims to make the purchase of agricultural equipment easier for the farmers. Under this scheme, if a farmer buys agricultural equipment from a recognized dealer, the state government gives him a subsidy of up to 40%. How will the subsidy be paid?
Physical verification of the equipment purchased by the farmer will be done by Agricultural Supervisor or Assistant Agricultural Officer. It is mandatory to show the procurement bill at the time of verification. The subsidy amount will be directly transferred online to the farmer’s bank account, making the process easier and transparent.
Benefits in Krishi Yantra Scheme
1. Seed drill or seed low fertilizer drill
- Horsepower range: A 20 bhp machine, which can have a capacity of up to 35 bhp or more.
- SC-ST, Small-Long and Women Farmers: 50% of the price or a maximum of Rs 15,000-28,000, whichever is low.
- Other category farmers: 40% of the price or maximum Rs 12,000-22,400, which is low.
2. Disk Plaw or Dis Hero
- Horsepower range: A 20 bhp machine, which can have a capacity of up to 35 bhp or more.
- SC-ST, small and women farmers: 50% of the price or maximum Rs 20,000-50,000, which is low.
- Other category farmers: 40% of the price or maximum Rs 16,000-40,000, which is low.
3. Rotivator
- Horsepower range: 20 bhp machine, which can have a capacity of up to 35 bhp or more.
- SC-ST, Small-Long and Women Farmers: 50% of the price or a maximum of Rs 42,000-50,400, whichever is low.
- Farmers of other categories: 40% of the price or a maximum of 34,000-40,300 rupees, whichever is low.
4. Multi crop thresher
- Horsepower range: A 20 bhp machine, which can have a capacity of up to 35 bhp or more.
- SC-ST, Small-Long and Women Farmers: 50% of the price or maximum from 30 thousand to 1 lakh rupees, whichever is less.
- Farmers of other categories: 40% of the price or maximum Rs 25,000-80,000, whichever is less
5. Ridge Furrow Planter or Multi Crop Planter or Tractor Operated Ripper
- Horsepower range: A 20 bhp machine, which can have a capacity of up to 35 bhp or more.
- SC-ST, Small-Long and Women Farmers: 50% of the price or a maximum of 30,000-75,000 rupees, which is less.
- Farmers of other categories: 40% of the price or a maximum of Rs 24,000-60,000, which is less.
6. Chisel Plow or Chisel Solution
- Horsepower range: 20 bhp, whose power can be up to 35 bhp or more.
- SC-ST, Small-Long and Women Farmers: 50% of the price or a maximum of Rs 10,000-20,000, whichever is less.
- Other category farmers: 40% of the price or maximum Rs 8,000-16,000, which is low.
Note- The limit of maximum subsidy is based on the BHP power of tractor, power tiller, power driving equipment.
Who are eligible for Krishi Yantra scheme?
- 1. Have their own agricultural land in the name of the applicant.
- 2. If the joint family is a joint family, then the name of the applicant should be in the revenue records.
- 3. Tractor should be registered in the name of the tractor applicant for tractor equipment.
- 4. In the last three years, there should not have been subsidy for the same type of equipment.
- 5. Do not take subsidy for more than 3 different devices in the financial year.
How to register online for Krishi Yantra Yojana?
- Step 1: First go to the official portal.
- Step 2: Click on ‘Register’ option.
- Step 3: You will be redirected on the SSO registration page. Many options will be seen on the registration page.
- Step 4: To move forward, you can choose one option from Jan Aadhaar or Google.
If you are choosing public base, then…
- Enter your Jan Aadhaar number and click on the Next button.
- Choose your name, name of the head of the family and the names of all other members.
- Click on Send OTP button.
- Now enter the OTP that will come and click on the Verified OTP button.
- Registration will be completed.
If you are choosing Google…
- Enter your Gmail ID and click on the Next button.
- Enter the password.
- A new link will appear on the screen, click on it.
- The SSO ID will appear on the screen, now make a password.
- Enter the mobile number and click on the registration button.
Step 5: Now complete the registration process.
How to apply for agricultural machinery scheme? Step-by-step process
- 1. Go to the official portal first.
- 2. The dashboard will open after logging.
- 3. Click on the ‘Raj-Kisan’ option in the dashboard.
- 4. Click on ‘Application Entry Request’ in ‘Citizen’ section.
- 5. Search by entering your ‘Bhamashah family ID’ or ‘Jan Aadhaar’ number.
- 6. Select your name and name of the plan.
- 7. Complete Aadhaar Authentication Aadhaar Authentication and click on ‘Get Details’.
- 8. Give necessary details such as pensioners, banks, disability, disability, verification details.
- 9. Upload documents.
- 10. Click on submit button.
