Lucknow. With the aim of cleaning and rejuvenating the Gomti River, the State Transformation Commission (STC), Uttar Pradesh is organizing a special program at Hotel Taj on Friday. The main goal of this initiative is to improve the water quality of Gomti and prepare a concrete action plan for river conservation.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will specially address this program at 4 pm. In his address, important guidelines are likely to be given on the ongoing river conservation efforts and future strategy in the state.
Specialty of ‘Revival of Lifeline: Clean Gomti’ program
STC Additional Chief Executive Officer Akshat Verma informed that the program has been titled “Revival of Lifeline: Clean Gomti”. Jal Shakti and Namami Gange Minister Swatantradev Singh will also participate in this event. Apart from this, experts from various fields, environmentalists and policy makers will also participate.
Roadmap for Gomti river improvement will be made with the suggestions of experts
Many different sessions will be held during the event. In these sessions, experts will express their views on issues related to cleaning the Gomti River, pollution control, water management and sustainable development. Based on the suggestions and discussions received, a detailed and effective roadmap will be prepared to improve the waters of Gomti River.
