Why did today’s gold rate cross Rs 150000?
Today the average rate of 24 carat gold in India was recorded around ₹ 1,50,600 per 10 grams. This slight gain is an indication that investors are still considering gold as a “safe haven”. Gold reached the highest level of ₹ 1,50,330 in Mumbai, ₹ 1,50,070 in Delhi and ₹ 1,50,770 in Chennai. The trend of higher prices continues in the cities of South India.
